Why Safari Only?
Apple restricts PWA installation to Safari on iOS. When you add the site via Safari, it installs as a Progressive Web App — it gets its own icon, runs fullscreen with no browser bars, and loads even with a poor connection. Notifications require iOS 16.4 or later.
